My Expectation

What I wanna learn is all what the teacher will teach. Like I told you, I think computers are very important nowadays. Knowing how to use them is benefits. So I'm pretty excited to study in this class. I hope that after finishing the study, I will gain much knowledge of how to create a website as much as possible and hope that I can finally create a really good website and can adapt this knowledge for using in my future career.

My Class Feedback

At first, I knew nothing about this class, Digital Studio. From its name, I thought it would be about cameras and taking pictures. But since I knew that it's gonna be about web design, I'm really happy and excited. Because it means that I can get more knowledge about Graphic Design in a wider field, not just designing books or posters, but it is a website! That's a lot more different. Computers and websites are and definitely will be very useful and important. The more I know about it and know how to use it, the more I get advantages. Also about the teacher who's teaching in this class, I think he is pretty cool. Unlike others, he makes me feel not stressful to study with. His teaching style look casual but professional. It makes me feel relaxed and so it makes me wanna learn more, kind of enjoy to study. Overall, I really think that this class is gonna be cooooooool...............

My Background

My name is Suthinee Pathumwong. My cute nickname, created by myself, is Honeybee. I came from Bangkok, Thailand and has been in the US since May 2008, just for study. My undergrad was Chemical Engineering but now I continue my Master's in Graphic Design. The reason why I completely change my study's field is because I always have a passion in art and design. I love drawing, painting, designing, singing and acting and usually showed my work and performance when I was in schools. I studied Thai Boxing and used to be a Thai classical dancer. I sometimes create customized purses, clothes, cards and more. Besides, I also design and do hair cuts for my friends. I love to collect dolls, figure models, lamps, pillows and everything that's cute and collectible. My hobbies are shopping, seeing movies and surfing the Internet. I also do translation from Thai to English for students' projects in my country. But since the semester started, they are all switched to study and doing homework. The reason why I choose to study in Graphic Design because being a graphic designer has a great future and it is still, somehow, related to what I love. I just love to design...
